How are our jewelry created and made?

From inspiration to design, it's a work filled with excitement. Jewelry creation is a delicate process where creativity blends with craftsmanship, inspiration with the various skills of jewelry making. Laura sources the various materials and analyzes the feasibility of the jewelry. Either the jewelry requires a technical drawing stage, or we move directly to the creation of a prototype.

Every woman is unique, so is your jewelry.

After discussions, modifications, and adjustments, the approved piece of jewelry is launched into production. Some pieces are sculpted and reproduced from a mold, while others are created by assembling several individual elements: chains, rings, findings, prints, cabochons, etc.

Each of these pieces is made by expert, meticulous hands, reflecting heritage and traditional know-how.

From inspiration to design

At the beginning, it is an intuition, an irrepressible feeling, to share a passion, an idea, to emulate a sensation, an atmosphere, an era: whether it is during a Parisian walk, a nostalgic melody, a family photo or a film scene, everything is a source of inspiration.

From this inspiration comes a pattern, a color, a shape. A few sketches and a mood board later, Laura finally has a clear idea.

Model and drawing

We bring an idea to life by harmonizing shapes, colors, and materials.

Prototyping

The drawing becomes reality. Depending on the model developed, one or more of these steps must be carried out.

Mold and cast iron

We create the imprint of the jewel using a wax or resin sculpture using a 3D printed prototype.

Assembly and mounting

Chains, rings, findings, prints, cabochons... these ingredients must be imagined, sourced, harmonized and finally assembled.

Filing and polishing

Each piece of jewelry is filed and then polished by hand to perfect its angles, roundness and feel, eliminating manufacturing marks and scratches until a uniform surface is obtained.

Gilding

We favor 24-carat fine gold plating, a layer of 99.99% pure gold. This preferred plating provides a lasting golden shine.

Final touch

Once the gilding is complete, stones, pearls, rhinestones, and resin are glued or applied to the jewelry in question. A series of small steps complete these different stages.

A true team effort, a subtle and sometimes tedious process, receiving our jewelry and wearing it for the first time, after months of reflection and work, is a feeling of great satisfaction, which inevitably pushes us to make new ones.

Beauty is a process
